    Easily swap Kirby bags?

    I've got a Kirby Classic III bag that I need to launder in the near future, but I remember removing/replacing the bag to be quite the hassle last time I had to. The elastic is quite tough and doesn't stretch easily. Good for sealing in dirt, but not good for my arms! Is this normal? Am I missing...

    Glad to be here! My parents can be a little extreme, but they're a lot better now than they were then. :) I'm gonna order the new hinges, rivets, and a new belt lifter lens in a few days.     Thanks for confirming the part # for me! I'd seen a few places offering them, but wasn't sure if it was the right part. I'd have been flustered had I ordered something that didn't work. :) I'll order them and as many other parts that need replacing, but weren't urgent enough for me to order...

    In my case there's nothing left to bend! He sliced everything past the rug guard off with his dremel. :( If I can't find a replacement hinge(s), then I'll just have to suck it up and buy a 'new' nozzle with (hopefully) good hinges to replace my nozzle.
