Any equivalent fan I could use?

They’re just part numbers to power units. No clue about any part number for the impellers. Question - Can I use a Rigid impeller in my QPL45a? The fan out of it is 125mm OD, 8mm center bore, and 10mm. I’m wondering if a fan from Rigid would fit this.

    Shop Vac Grinding Noise.

That’s what I’m planning to do if I find one of those smaller shop vacs with a nut in it.

    Shop Vac Grinding Noise.

I guess if I could find a small shop vac with a nut on the fan, I could take the motor out of that one and put it into the shell of the parted out hang up so that I could atleast have a mini shop vac again.

    Bearing Press?

I found this on Amazon! I think we’re gonna be out of the eras where we need to use a hammer on shaft to press on bearings. https://a.co/d/duCWFZh

    Shop Vac Grinding Noise.

They made several over the years. I know there was this one that hooked onto the wall like a central vac.

    Shop Vac Grinding Noise.

It was already well lubed and it still kept arcing unless I balanced the fan just right.

    Shop Vac Grinding Noise.

Returning to this thread. A couple of years ago, I discovered that the grinding noise on startup was the motor arcing. This was due to the fan. I had to balance the fan JUST right in order to get the arcing to stop. Now with my new shop vacs, I have parted this one out because the tension clip...

Main Equivalency! Which one would you take?

“Copycat” and “Too different” in the same sentence? 10/10 consistency! If this thread is a “copycat” why are you saying that it’s too different in the same sentence?

    Pick your poison: Main equivalency!

His “context” isn’t EVEN needed. Just Give it up, Absolute Rainbow, you’re not in control of my thread and never will be. Not to toot my own horn, but I made the better thread without his “context” mixed in.
