Maytag Vacuum Cleaners made in USA

I would love them to use the cord winder that they use on the Henry vacuums. those are simple yet are as effective. How many vacuums have you ever seen where you have to "feed" the cord inside and a foot of the cord always hang out. I like some canisters that have the sheave that is on the...

Maytag Vacuum Cleaners made in USA

linkie no workie unless it is my connection. as far as what that Maytag guy said,, who cares what he thinks. Tacony the parent company I am sure knows what they are doing and I think America is in need of an old fashioned simple and long lasting design. I am not a vacuum collector like some...

What is the future of rainbow?

I love my Grandma's It is a D2 chrome top. I will never let that go. I still am amazed how you can see the windings of the motor,, and the water below it. I know the spinning air and separator does it's job,, but still Exposed windings over water?? I like the D3 as well. The D4 I am not...

So I got a new to me vacuum today.

I cleaned out the vacuum washed the cloth bag and I also cleaned the motor out with contact cleaner. I reassembled the vacuum . the smell is much less present but still there. I was reading that organic matter like dog smells and all that takes 90 days to disappear. Let's hope.

What is the future of rainbow?

My opinion is,, that they will indeed make it smaller and more streamlined, maybe even change the shape a little make it look more like a Meile or that sort. I would like to see a different color. Maybe a brighter color instead of the black maybe like an aqua color or something a long those...

    Nilfisk GS-80

I am looking for a Nilfisk GM or GS-80 without the motor, What I really need is the center piece with the cotton filter. I have a base and a spare motor. If anyone has a complete unit that is affordable or the center piece. I would be eternally grateful. Thanks so much Mike.

for a hundred bucks,,, part them out. rebuild ones you can and sell them. I hate to see stuff scrapped. We all want to go green, repair and sell. then you can buy a cool vacuum if you put the proceeds towards a machine you want. take them to the flea market, I frequent flea markets and...

Maytag Vacuum Cleaners made in USA

Dysonman1 I agree with you about the cord winder. Just a fantasy with me. I remember as a kid my Mom had a vacuum and I remember "feeding" that cord back into the machine. jiggle side to side up and down,, then a foot of the cord sticks out. but I like to see a metal canister. with like...
