Looking for the motor casing for an Electrolux Guardian Encore C134B

I think you are right. It is closed. I haven't been over there in awhile. What a shame :( Ken Jasper must have been in poor health. I know he sold it and it relocated. For many years it was near 11th and Yale. [this post was last edited: 12/4/2023-21:31]

Looking for the motor casing for an Electrolux Guardian Encore C134B

Tulsa has a dealer. It's not far from my house. I'll check by parts tubs after work. You must be closer to Oklahoma City. Maybe Aerus could ship it to you? Have you tried calling any of the vac shops near OKC or where you live?

Rainbow D4 special edition - not as much airflow as it should have?

I made the mistake of testing a D4 motor that I took apart and cleaned recently without the spider. I ended up damaging the top fan. I was able to order a new generic fan and it runs fine. I've learned my lesson.

I do like the Singer hand vac. I wish I could find the attachments for mine one day. Looks good :)

    Lux G

I've read in some places by a poster that "G" stood for gentle and quiet performance in the model G. Is this official in any of the Electrolux literature?

what is your favorite vacuum in your collection?

If I had to narrow the list to three it would be: 1. Electrolux 1205 - My grandmother had this one. 2. Kirby Classic III - because my grandparent's had one. 3. Convertible 69 - another one from my childhood that relates to my grandmother. Used as prop in the Wizard of Oz (she was a high...

    Lux G

I picked up another model G from a thrift store. I passed by it several times over the last couple of weekends. It was 75 percent off this past weekend. I have replacement wheels at home so I figured what the heck. The hose still holds good suction which is the main reason I got it. When I...

    Electrolux 2100 Problem (help needed!)

If the hoses are clear open up the bag valve. The stem screws out. I guarantee the bottom seal is off and you can probably see little bits of plastic where it is broken. This seems to happen more often on the plastic models. Then to 1205 metal style canisters. The valve will have to be...

    Electrolux 2100 Problem (help needed!)

I would rather replace the bag valve than disabling it. I can’t stand it when people Jury rig stuff to make it work. Just my personal preference.

    Rainbow D4 Power Nozzle question

I happened to find another D4 SE today for cheap. It has the PN 1 rectangular shaped nozzle. When I removed the brush roll three washers fell out. Are there supposed to be two or one washer(s) on each side? I checked my other rainbow PN and it only had one washer on each side. This is the...
