your right not paper back the n but i was sugesting to upgrade to paper and cloth

true that needs both cloth and paper to seal right almost forgot

i need a female to female plug pigtail once i have that its power head time

Here she is. motor is sweet as can be no bearing noise better shape than my other super j i just need a pig tail feamle to female to attatch the want to the hose

try bending it do yo u have the cloth and paper bag isntalled it needs both might be the pin the holds the latch to be stuck check it

if it wont stay close you need a new latch there are available on ebay i think il look for you theres nothing to add i own compact and tristar comon problem just needa new latch or bend it the right way

i had a similar issue with my lux 8000 vacuum , unwind all the cord put it straight on the floor and press the button retract all the way fine not need help it along all is well previous owner must of wind it weird for me it works fine .

i use it more and more and love it shes quiet performance the pn is louder than the canister i love the vinyl hose on her too works great all the controls work as they should the bag light and plug i nlight works as does the rest ive check it .

hose motor body tools went wrong in this one got rid of it replace by lux 8000
