    Which Hoover Canister is this?

I saw this video awhile back of Jay Leno talking with a kid who was into vacuums and one of the phots displayed was of the Hoover Display I would assume in Ohio, of course during the 1990s. I just wanted to know if anyone could identify which type of canister is at the top of the display? Is it...

    Soviet Space Age Vac

Kind of curious what the history behind these were. With all of the competition between the USSR and USA at the height of the Cold War, its interesting to think even that the USSR made a vacuum almost identical in shape to the Constellation. Anyone know much about these?

    Canadian Hoover Junior Convertible

eurekaprince Sometimes when ive heard where people say the Juniors were made, they say Hoover Limited of GB. What was the difference between Hoover and Hoover Limited. Just difference in manufacturing location?

    Canadian Hoover Junior Convertible

eurekaprince I feel like Matytag/Hoover was still the real Hoover, similar elements on those vacs from the original models etc. When TTI bought it out it basically became a husk. Nothing "Hoover" on the shelves are actually really Hoover. And Hoovers quality dropped ALOT

    Canadian Hoover Junior Convertible

Here's a question I have...... The Junior was primarily built in Britain. Nowadays Hoover US and UK are two completely different companies one owned by TTI/Maytag etc and one owned by Candy. Back in the day when Juniors were mostly exclusive to the UK, were Hoover US and Hoover UK the same...

    Canadian Hoover Junior Convertible

I had no idea this even existed on this side of the Atlantic until I found this thread a few days ago. Always found the Juniors to be a fascinating bunch of cleaners. I only really knew of the 1348 being the only Junior on this side but I'm curious if anyone knows about the North American 1354A...

    Hoover Junior Dirtsearchers

Junior Convertible I know it says the original account that posted this isnt on here anymore but I have to ask for people who will see this post. How rare is the "Junior Convertible"? Ive never seen one and had 0 idea the dirtsearcher was even sold on this side of the Atlantic. That would be a...

    Forgotten Bissell Products

Pic provided by RegularRett69 This is the one I was referring to. A rare all black Bissell Plus Lift Off and I think this looks even better than the white and green and white and black. Only found out about this one not so long ago.

    Forgotten Bissell Products

Bissell Lift Off Bagged I have only seen like one or two photos, but there is an ALL BLACK Bissell Lift Off bagged vacuum/Plus. Not with the white lift off unit. Think of like the all black PowerForce everyone is familiar with.

Black Bissell Plus / Lift Off

OldCrankman Nope! There was a photo of a very rare all black version of I BELEIVE it was the original Plus design. The 3554 has a black base and handle but a white vacuum lift off unit. This is a rare one but it is real.

Black Bissell Plus / Lift Off

I saw maybe one photo once of this machine but it was in all black. Anyone know of the model Im talking about? Definitely a rare Bissell Lift Off variant. These were probably some of Bissell's best too.

    Mystery of a Hoover Tempo?

This doesn't really show much but.... Here's a sears newspaper ad from around 2005. I think it'd actually the yellow one but the ad makes it look white.

    Mystery of a Hoover Tempo?

This? I think this was like maybe a year after TTI got ahold of the old Maytag machines

    Mystery of a Hoover Tempo?

Huskyvacs Yep, I believe that's what the user was alluding to. He said it was back in like 2005. That white bagged model is like a 2009 or 2010. But at the same time it could've very well been a White Fold Away. Said it was at Sears in the post. I always like finding put about rare Hoovers.

    Mystery of a Hoover Tempo?

I saw a thread on here earlier this year where someone once said there was a white bagless Hoover Tempo sold around the same time the common yellow one was and saw it when they bought that yellow one years back? Is there a rare white variant of that machine? I know in the mid 2000s they made the...

    Picking out a vac!

How many have a fond memory of going to the store as a kid with mom or dad and picking out a brand new vacuum? I remember in the Summer of 2003 I went with dad to Kmart to pick out Hoovers latest, the Fold Away, which was a pretty cool unit at the time. How about the rest of you?

    Has anyone bought one yet?

Wouldn't the parts be interchangeable since Oreck under TTI is making this for Hoover?

    Forgotten Hoover Products

I could be wrong but.... Wasn't the Hoover Shop Vac what Day Day was playing around with while smoking pot in "Next Friday"? Or was that a different one?
