Old photo of Hoovers from late 90s

I love going on the internet and finding gems of photos like this. My favorite era of Hoover, and all of them newly packaged. This was on the old Ace Trading Post website and it's such a great roster of vacuums. The Windtunnel Deluxe, the Breathe Easy, Powerdrive, etc. If anyone with an eagle...

    Rug doctor acquired by Bissell?

I understand that Im just saying of the only choices the big box stores give nowadays theyre the best ones. Definitely not for vacuums overall. I still like my Maytag Era Hoovers over all.

    Rug doctor acquired by Bissell?

Alot of people diss on Bissell but..... Honestly we've never had an issue with any of what theyve put out over the years. Right now theyre probably among the most powerful big box retailer machines. The ones I have pull up alot of hidden sand and gunk. The Bissell Velocity from like 2006 was a...

    Forgotten Hoover Products

Never saw this..... A green translucent Hoover Windtunnel Supreme (BEFORE they started labeling their machines as 12 amp) with an electronic bag indicator. This ones new to me. These are definitely among the best Hoover ever made.

Anyone have any info on this Hoover

Under one of the threads, someone added specs about the Dimension and Legacy style Hoover cleaners. I knew about the Dimension II upright but I was unaware there were actually 2 separate versions of it. There's the U5211 AND the U5212 that apparently has the 12 amp motor rather than the 7 amp...

    A brand new toy!!!!!

This was one of those vacuums I saw in a store as a kid that I only dreamed of having one day, such a cool design for an Elite. The body of a Preferred, and the sleek power head of a caddy vac! This is a Hoover Breathe Easy manufactured in August of 2002. 12 amp model, so closer to the end of...

    Just bought a "new" HOOVER!!!!

Heyyyyy!!!!! Ive seen your vids on YouTube, you have an awesome collection!!!!! And ive seen the vid of the black Breathe Easy, I think those were also exclusive to Walmart. Back when vacuum shopping was cool, and not Dyson or Shark or brands just copying Dyson or Shark LOL. I miss the era of...

    Just bought a "new" HOOVER!!!!

Nope! Its Elite based but definitely one of the more bizarre entries to the series, closer to the end of its run too.

What happened to the "Vacuumman" site???

It was up earlier this year and several years before that. VacuumMan it went by. All sorts of old refurbished Electrolux Canisters and other stuff for sale, when I was a kid I watched some of the demo videos they had of the Electrolux and ProTeam Cleaners. Now its gone completely?

    Is this a modded Windtunnel?

IMO.... Those mid line Windtunnels are my favorite ones. Tool storage without the breakable plastic door, no tools falling off the back and no self propelled mechanism that you need to check often. Also very sentimental because my aunt had the very nice turbo power version of that windtunnel...

    Is this a modded Windtunnel?

Powerstarenergy No problem man, it's kinda hard to tell anyway. But the purple is nice for sure! I like the 2000s Windtunnel logo alot too. Looks nice on these cleaners.

A rarity and fine piece of Hoover history...

Honestly.... The introduction of the commercial Elites, always made me wonder if Hoover ever had any plans to introduce the Self Propelled Elite model to the lineup. I know they later on added the Dimension/Soft Guard styles.

    Hoover Dimension in Red

Paul They made a 12 amp version of the Dimension II? Which one was that (the U5212-900)?
  18. eureka1998

    Is this a modded Windtunnel?

I've seen the Windtunnel Lite before and this looks just like it, buy it has that mid line top tool storage and I've rarely come across mid 2000s Windtunnels that had this set up.
  19. eureka1998

    Never seen this Windtunnel
