    Forgotten Dirt Devil/Royal Products

An old photo from the site...... Obviously I think it's a dirt devil because it's bright red but it's hidden behind several other Dirt Devils, specifically behind the Broom Vac and the Deluxe/Upright. Can't tell what it is because only a sliver of red is poking out behind them.

    What Hoover Dimension is this?

Apparently There was a clearer image also. Its a Limited, which is shocking cause the lighting is making it look way brighter from what I imagined.

    What Hoover Dimension is this?

Paul I saw that list earlier and some things caught my attention! Im familiar with the U5211 Dimension II but was unaware they made a 12 amp version of that vac? The U5212-900? What vacuum is that?

    What Hoover Dimension is this?

Panasonicvac I notice alot that pictures sometimes distort what somethings color might actually be. Very well could be the case here.

    What Hoover Dimension is this?

I know the regular Dimension came in thr bright green but this blurred photo says something else after Dimension. It's either Limited or Supreme, which is confusing because the Limited was a deep hunter green. Was there a Dimension Supreme that was a bright green similar to just the regularly...

    Vacuums in the Wild..

Panasonicvac A mop that has suction power, I usually go by anything like that as being a vacuum 😁I've seen the vids for those before and they're pretty interesting!!!

    Favorite vacuum store memories

We all have our memories of running down to the vacuum aisle to see what new vacuums were stocked out on the shelves. Anyone have any particular memories from a visit to a certain store? What was one vacuum (or more) that was on display that you really wanted? My best memory was going one night...

    10 Amp Sharp?

Panasonicvac Dang!!! Thats a good memory. Oddly enough I didnt remember the Bravo! I was only thinking of one video where it wasnt the whole collection. But I absolutely do remember the other vids on the Broom Vac, the DD Purpose. Dont remember the Panasonic but once again I believe it because...

    10 Amp Sharp?

Panasonicvac I remember some of Clubcars videos! One of them he showed off like 5 of his vacs, one of them was this Sharp, an old Elite Supreme, a Maxima, a Boss Superlite, but can't remember what the 5th was. I miss some of the old yt videos.

    Something crossed my mind.....

Panasonicvac Aren't the original PowerMax uprights on the whole similar to the Elite Ones? Similar arm on the front for the self propelled mechanism, the bases are very identical etc. Only difference being the shape of the upper bodies.

    Something crossed my mind.....

panasonicvac Thats awesome concepts for that folding handle Kenmore. Really sleek looking machine right there. And the Kirby with the bag in the back looks solid, really would've been neat aesthetically. I also like to think about what I call what ifs. What if several popular machines we know...

    Something crossed my mind.....

I wonder if there was any plans or blueprints for vacuums that never made the cut into actual production. Like during the 90s and early 2000s, I would imagine there were several Bissells, Eurekas, Hoovers etc that never saw the light of day but were thought up.
  16. eureka1998

    What vacuum started it all?

Just a general question for those on this lovely website!!!! We all had atleast one machine that got us into the world of vacuums. Im curious what yours were?

Maytag Hoovers: Who made those motors?

There's machines like the original Hoover Floormate, Steamvac Jr, SteamVac etc, that have rather similar sounding motors to vacuums from other brands, like the Oreck XLs from the early 2000s. I always thought even the Windtunnel uprights sounded like a muxh quieter and more muffled XL despite it...

Old photo of Hoovers from late 90s

VacsofProsper Trading posts were always fewer but according to Google, the main difference is trading post is moreso household stuff and hardware is more like the outdoor stuff.
