I do have one of those, model VIIC3, but have never needed to do anything with it other than clean & polish it, repair the hose (done after this pic was taken), and run it from time to time. But I do wonder why you need to change the swivel on yours--is it broken? Here's a pic of mine.

I want to switch them out because I can't find the two hoses I know were at my house. The one that came with it and another that came with another I got earlier. They are both missing. I do have an extra rectangular slot type. I hate to "resto mod" the vacuum, but I would like to use it. I still have not looked at it to see if they could be switched.
