Beware of user papasvacs he stole $30 from me when I sent him a gift card for a Hoover Powermax part and NEVER recieved it? I emailed him multiple times with no response?? I have reported him so no one else gets scammed.

Papasvacs last logged in December 2020. There is no way this happened.
Well I got scammed then an impersonator by the name of Dario Jim which was a scammer who sent me the email [email protected] please be aware this is a scam artist luckily it was only $30 but still pissed to loose money he may try to reach out to more collectors claiming to have parts.
I hate when people impresonate people that have passed on. They are so disrespectful.

I dodged a bullet myself. I was all set to deal with that Davis Lee guy; you will never believe the lines he/she used on me. Tried to get me to use a couple of money transfer companies, but I opted for PayPal. They asked me to use "Friends and Family" which on PayPal, means no buyers protection. I am pretty sure Dario Jim messaged me to connect with Davis Lee. In the end, I said no.
Davis Lee, sent a QR showing JAMES PORATH: VENMO account. Plus this from the email.

That is very messed up. Unless I have no clue how internet banking works ( I only use facebook marketplace, vacuumland , trademe and youtube on my computer).
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure the feeling of being deceived is worse than the loss of money and disappointment of not receiving the part, which are bad enough in themselves.

Alan, Can you work with vacfan6384 to change the title of the thread? It seems disrespectful to papasvacs memory to leave the present one in place.
I agree that the title of the thread should be changed. It wasn't vacfan6384's fault though, at least i think, becausehe/she didn't know.
It seems like someone brute forced into papavacs account and hacked it and then waited for someone to email the address. This is all beginner level scam tactics. I know the old website had issues all the time with bots making accounts to advertise scam websites. I guess they probably got to users email addresses too.
That is a real shame. I hope it is resolved.
The old site would not let the user use a secure complex password with special characters. Just numbers and letters. Easy to hack passwords that way.
