I haven’t found any bags for my Flor Genie canister vacuum. I’d love to get a few only for having extras KC-1, KC-2, KC -3 vacuum bagsIt’s interesting that Kmart also had a private labeled house brand of singer-built machines called “Flor Genie”
Yes, it was the 600 Series (uprights, canisters, and power teams); although I have seen ads from other discount department stores that also carried some of them. These were manufactured for about 20 years beginning in 1970. Just prior to that I know that the F & G model 228 was sold at Kmart; there was likely a canister, too.Didn't K-Mart also sell some unique to them models of Eureka canister vacs? The had tan bodies and black attachments, attachment holder and furniture guard.
I have a tan 1770 something ( can't remember the exact model and too hot to go find it in the garage ) Vactronic with black trim and black attachments that I thought was one of the models sold through K-Mart. One of my best vacuums.Yes, it was the 600 Series (uprights, canisters, and power teams); although I have seen ads from other discount department stores that also carried some of them. I cut the plastic bag mount away on a Miele FJM bag and cram that over the spout of my C17 Golden Glide. It stays put and keeps everything nice and clean inside after all that work sanitizing it.I haven’t found any bags for my Flor Genie canister vacuum. According to my research, it's a 1774 and was made from 1983 to circa 1988. When you have an opportunity, I'd like to see photos of yours including the ratings on the canister & power head. I recorded that it's a Quiet Kleen, too, but now I'm unsure, because only one ad includes it.I have a tan 1770 something ( can't remember the exact model and too hot to go find it in the garage ) Vactronic with black trim and black attachments that I thought was one of the models sold through K-Mart. Mine is definitely the 3.0. That I remember.According to my research, it's a 1774 and was made from 1983 to circa 1988. Attached are two November 1983 newspaper ads (the others are just listings with no descriptions): the first is from THE TELEGRAPH and the second is from the ST. JOSEPH NEWS-PRESS for the model-type 1774-A. It was definitely one of Eureka's top-of-the line Power Teams at the time.
It's likely a 1774 as the 1775 was white. Here's a portion of my list showing all the 1770s:Mine is definitely the 3.0. That I remember.
