I have many central vacuums, consisting of an Arco Wand and a Tuec, as long as a few spencer turbine cleaners. I also have some more modern day machines, such as MD, Beam, NuTone, and VacuFlo. Although I really enjoy central vacuums, I have some more modern day uprights such as the Kirby Avalir 2, Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2, etc. however I do also own vintage Hoover’s and the infamous original dyson.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I would love to find a vintage Tuec 210 as it would be nice to see what the other tuec machines were like.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Ever since I was a kid I had noticed the long hose that connected to the wall at a relatives house that seemingly could be used as a vacuum. Since then, I discovered central vacuums and I’ve been growing up living and breathing these systems.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
About 2 years ago I started collecting central vacuums as I realized i really enjoyed collecting them. My first vacuum was a Arco Wand which I have still in pristine condition and works well.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
I have restored an old Arco Wand and Tuec Built-In vacuum cleaners with the help of my father.
