-Westinghouse converta-vac

What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?

-I have pictures of when I would play with my moms old vacuum cleaner.
I would go over to my neighbors house and watch Gloria through the screen door vacuuming with her 1955 Westinghouse model DC10, canister machine. I was about three years of age.

What is the history of vacuum you have owned?

-I collect most machines that were around during my childhood; which would be early 50s machine. However, I have machines from the early 20s up to the early 70s. I always enjoyed canister vacuums, but since I have been a member of the VCCC, I have aquired many uprights from the same vintage years as the canisters.

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?

-I do all my own mechancial repair work; with the help of my good friends Chuck C, and Marc T.
