What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?

From about the age of 4; using my Grans 1961/2 Lux Z65. I think I was the only one who understood how to use the dual action tools !!...as for Grans cleaning woman...well..she was a vacuum clnr torturer !!

What is the history of vacuum you have owned?

Various second hand Hoover uprights dating 1949-79 & Lux cylinders.
1st new machine: late Lux Z87.
Presently own: Lux ZD1070 x 2,Miele S512 & S143, Numatic George from 1990,
Nilfisk GS80 (BRAND NEW from 1992)

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?

Many, starting with Lux 65 bag & filter changing. Belt & brush replacement on my Mums Hoover 1224.
