What are your dream machines yet to be found?
Still on the hunt for a Hoover 800 and a Hoover 750. First and second model of GE Roll Easys'
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
In 2003 we had cheaply built Eureka vacuum that wasn't cutting it. At the same time our neighbor from across the street was having a yard sale. Out of my mother's frustration with our junky modern vacuum she had me go out ask about the vacuum that our neighbor was selling. The machine in question was a Hoover Concept 1, beige in color, broken lens cover, working powerdrive but very scratched up. Asked how much they wanted for it and to my surprise the owner only wanted a penny for it. Ran back to the house, got a penny and rushed back down the street and brought the thing back home. To both my mother's and I surprise, it cleaned up much better than our cheap Eureka upright ever did. We kept the vacuum up until we moved homes, sadly my father decided to leave it behind for the new home owners to use. Where it is now...no one knows.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?

Hoover model 63: Given to me by good friend Rick B. Restored using a used model 64 motor in late Aug. of 2016.

Hoover Portable (non retractable cord 1966 model): $45 eBay find. 1st Hoover I restored in late May of 2015.

Hoover Dustette 1050 model: First vintage Hoover vacuum I bought and collected in August of 2014.

Electrolux Model G: Given to me by good friend Rick B. in late Aug. of 2016
Early teal model.

Electrolux Model E (1954-5 model): Given to me by good friend Rick B. in late Aug. of 2016.

Hoover model 725: Owned by close friend of Rick and given to me to restore. (also known as the machine that has tried to kill me a couple times.) Currently still a work in progress.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Every machine I've owned has been gone through mechanically and cosmetically.
Serviced a $35 ebay bought 1966 Hoover Portable. Which turned out rather nice aside from a slightly scratched Hoover emblem.
Cleaned and polished a 1951 Hoover Dustette. (Was unable to get the motor apart and did not want to risk breaking anything. Bearings do need oiling)

Went though and restored a 1927 Hoover Model 700. Hrs of metal polishing to make it presentable once more, motor gone through as well.
Upon inspection it had been rebuilt in August 1972 by a local vacuum repair shop. I don't believe it was ever touched again since then since a bearing in the beater brush spun in the housing.
