I'm 30 years old and i live with my parents
and my vacuums i have an old 1949 Modern Hygeine and my Rainbow D4C SE that i got from a friend of mine and my Kirby Heritage 2 legend turbo and my Oreck Xl 9100 that i got from another friend of mine and my Kirby G4 80th anniversary that i got for my 30th birthday this past year
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
My mom had an old hoover convertible vacuum
and i'm trying to re-create childhood memories and collect vacuums from my childhood and i would love to find me that same hoover we had it was a brown and white color and i would love to have an electrolux vacuum in the near future
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
When i was little my Grandparents(dad's parents)had an old kirby classic iii and i remember when we went on vacation to the lake they took it with them cause my gramp's tried to fix the fanblade that had broke he thought he fixed it but it made a horrible loud noise and scared the crap out of me and i ran out of the lake house crying and was halfway down the end of the street it scared me that bad till this day i still think about that memory
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
I'm good at fixing belts and cleaning filters but i have not learned how to put motors in or anything else yet but i do hope to learn someday
