    ...any way to get that "wet dog" smell out of a vacuum?

    bad smell I would try just wiping the vacuum out with white vinegar. It takes the smell out of everything that I have ever tried. Barb MacMillan

    Someone just gave my son an old Electrolux that appears to be from about 1935. It did not come with a cord but has a place to hook a cord onto that is similar to a coffee pot or electric skillet plug. Does anyone know where I can get a cord for the vacuum? There isn't a model number on the...
