When I sold the Ultimate G, we were killed by a green, plastic, bagless Dirt Devil Vision... Seriously, the Kirby got nothing in the home that was regularly cleaned with that machine and the Dirt Devil wouldn't quit pulling stuff up... I was horrified and shocked all at the same time!

I've never seen one before, and would have definitely snapped it up! Kind of like the Kenmore glide! The power nozzle is very Miele-esque! When I first saw it before I noticed the power nozzle, I thought it was a Eureka Superbroom! I wonder how old it is and how available bags are? Anyway...

While not the first machine to beat as it sweeps as it cleans, I think any modern company still offering a bagged machine should be applauded. It does look cheap, but I like the big power switch. The lights on the front of the nozzle are cool too, until they burn out! I didn't like the sound...

I wonder how the Nilifisk compares to a Sebo/Windsor... Reminds me of Lindhaus... Yes, get the Cruiser! I've never seen one with purple plastic parts! It was my dream machine for a very long time, and I do love mine, though I don't use it much. Not much suction, though agitation is great...

When I worked at Sears, we did... lots of demos... even when there were no customers I vacuumed and I drove the people in the neighboring departments crazy with the noise.... major appliances, electronics, and sporting goods all hated me! If Bobby was working there was going to be a vacuum...

How did you get a shop vac to run a power nozzle? I agree it's gross what modern machines leave behind... One of the place I work at uses these for vacuum cleaners. I brought this (straight suction only mind you)... And got this... Need I say more?

Thanks Fred and Robert... such an infuriating problem to have because the very machine that is supposed to be cleaning the floor is making it dirtier than it started! I will definitely take your advice when I'm ready to tackle fixing this...

Thanks guys..... yeah I'm really grateful for the help! I love having people to share the hobby with! I've started polishing half the machine and it's looking great but my hands and fingernails are black! I think I'm going to have to get the dremel out because I can't quite get it shiny...
