Why does Hoover hide the new Connie?

New Constellation Go to an authorized Hoover dealer. While Hoover doesn't own these places any more that is where I got mine in September, '06.

Need Rec. for a new upright...

Bagged Upright Get a rebuilt Kirby Heritage model with latest Micron Magic bag. Also see if this model is able to be retro-fitted with the smaller rug nozzle. None cleans better!

    WHAT WOULD YOU DO???

Holiday Package I'd open it NOW. Don't wait. It's nearly Christmas all over the world!

A quick group photo of Perivale's finest!

Perivale's Finest! Thanks for sharing with us. Marvelous collection. I've been looking for a Hoover Model 115 but like the newer ones as well. You're fortunate to have so many.

    Andy Griffith Show

Barney Fife's Hoover Convertible The name Hoover was never mentioned but you couldn't mistake that vacuum. I'm surprised because years before on I Love Lucy they nearly flaunted the Hoover line. Interesting.

    Washing old cloth bags

Washing old cloth bags Doesn't washing them take out the factory sizing thus reducing its ability to keep from recirculating dust back into the air? I've always vacuumed them out & then sprayed them with Febreeze to freshen them thus preserving the original sizing.

    Washing old cloth bags

Washing old bags Doesn't washing take out the sizing from the factory thus reducing its ability to filter properly, allowing more picked up debris to re-circulate into the air? I've always just vacuumed a dump bag & sprayed it with Fabreeze to preserve the factory sizing.

    Convertible Model 70

Nice vintage machine but high bid is $132.50. I think that's too high though it is in relatively good condition.

    Old Vac Catalogues

Does anyone have old Sears or Montgomery Ward catalogues from the 50's '60's with vacuum sections intact? These would be great for "Vac of the Day" segments. Also, ads from UK. I'm fascinated by their Hoover models & of of course the 'ole Great Britain "Goblins." duane

    Hoover Model 65 Bag

Genuine Convertible outer Bag You can go to an authorized Hoover service dealer and they can order one for you. I just bought one several months ago for a Convertible, Model 714. It is light beige so they can't guarantee the color you want but the upside is that you are getting a genuine Hoover...

My Son Needs a New Vac Recommendation

Kenmore Canisters I've used the Progressive model (extra long hose; "side-kick" type motorized tool, etc) and like it very much, though it IS noisy. And I wish the power-nozzle were a bit narrower. But Sears periodically reduces the price on these when newer models are coming out at year's end...

    The AERO-DYNE!

Aero-Dyne Love this model. If I could find one with the flexible hose (the brown model w/red switch) that would be great to add to my collection. How many watt motor do these have. The new Connie is 3-4x's as powerful as the original. Just love mine! duane

Where can I get a new CONNIE???

Hoover Constellation Try an authorized Hoover Service/Dealer in your area. That's where I got mine. Best of luck!

    Central vac discussion.

Central Vacs I've used both Electrolux & Hoover central vacs. Prefer the Hoover powernozzle over the 'Lux. Brighter lite! Marvelous.

Two quick questions for Satellite/new Connie owners....

Re: retailers Got mine at an authorized Hoover Dealer here in town. Don't know they've hit (or will) larger retailers eventually.
