I thought with the new color added to my workshop I should update the Kirby lamp over the workbench. I had it originally done with grey trim, but now with the black paint on the cabinet framing it would look better in black trim. I used a Kirby 2C nozzle and belt cap, with a new replacement...

    Updating the back house

Well my family came out to make my dream come true. I only had one thing on my bucket list and that was to get all of my 6 grandkids together at the same time. So they came out to celebrate the 4th, and my 70th birthday. I'm so glad I updated the back house it really made a difference.

    Throw away vacuums

    Updating the back house

It was built as a workshop for the previous owners husband. I was looking for a new home and this one was only 946 sq ft, 2 bedroom one bath ranch style, and I almost past on it, but after seeing the 375 sq ft workshop, in the back yard that was a game changer. Pictured is the house.

    Updating the back house

I have family coming out on the 4th of July, so I put everything in the back house in storage, and started painting it. This is a rare shot of the counter being cleared. It's coming along well, and was much needed after years of smoking. Also I love this time of year with our roses in bloom in...

    Kirby model 2C help needed

Liam 505 light cap trim Liam, If you can find an original grey light cap trim, you can use it to replace the light cap trim on the 505. I replaced the light cap trim on my 508 doing this. You will need to paint it black, and cut to size, but it can be done. Using new tan light cap trim will...
