    Thanks for the feedback. I ended up getting the top of the line one. It's only assembled here. I didn't like the filtration on the Legacy Cannister.

    I meant to add that I have two Australian Shepherds so any vacuum I get needs to be an to handle plenty of dog fur. :-)

    My Mother used to have an old Electrolux that lasted forever. I'm in need of a new vacuum and from what I've been able to read the LUX Legacy Cannister is what it's called now days. I would like something made in the US that will last. I called the AERUS store near me and got quote of $1899...
