It runs just fine.It was the toggle switch that shocked me.It wasn't a full 120 volts but it was enough to were I can fell it.

This is a vintage Royal commercial upright that i picked up from a thrift store. it worked fine until a few days later I turned on the vac and i got shocked by the switch.Any reasoning on this. i had not opened this to take a look yet
