I was given a G5 that also had the pedals removed. It was missing that metal mechanism thing that I used from a parts Kirby. Installing the pedals is actually fairly easy if you know what your doing I’ve done it so many times. P.s. sorry if the photo is sideways
Trash find
I thought I would revive this old thread to show that I had recently picked up a Panasonic model MC-6955 Along with the dirt devil. The Panasonic works great all needed was a good thorough wipe down
This abused Kirby G5 was found in a barn I haven’t plugged in or tried it yet but it’s in pretty bad condition my question is is it worth putting the money into it to restore it.The G5 seems like a pretty good vacuum
Whats the difference between the electrolux dicovery through lux 3000. Just a thought that crossed my mind because they all sound the same and look the same.
This is my first time polishing any Kirby with a power tool. I was using a Black & Decker D 1000 drill with a wool pad and mothers polish and I have to say it’s a million times better than hand polishing. I think I did a pretty good job
oh but dont forget
The plastic would be pretty brittle and plus it being shipped halfway across the world it might come damaged. Just saying because I would hate for you to spend 100+ dollars on a hunk of broken plastic
