What are your dream machines yet to be found?
The range in NZ is a bit slim and international shipping on vacuum cleaners can be very pricey, however I do have a soft spot for older Electrolux, Hoover and Kirby machines.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Doing the laundry & vacuuming with my grandmother when I was a kid. Hoovermatic twintub (Rare dark brown version which I now have), and an Electrolux Z333 I think it was, which I'm still trying to find (Yellow & Black canister with manual cord wind).
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Nothing fancy, mainly from junk/recycling shops, local auction website (TradeMe), and hand-me-downs.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Pretty much all of the vacuums I have have needed varying amounts of attention, mainly cosmetic or electrical, but I've not had to do a full teardown restoration as yet.
