GE swivel top canister vac as a kid, mid 50’s model. Yeah, I’m that old.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
GE canister vac (Our first vacuum. I didn’t learn from my childhood.)
Electrolux Super J (Bought a repossessed one from an Electrolux salesman)
Electrolux Silverado Deluxe (Inherited from my Mother in law.)
Stinger Wet/dry vac. Used for work / hobby.
Neato robot vac. It’s name is “Jo Tai Tai” which was the name of our maid / housekeeper when we lived in Taiwan.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Just worked on several vacuums. My Electrolux Silverado Deluxe just gave it up. Switch fell apart and had a loose connection. Then discovered that the armature has got issues. Major sparks when I test it.
I have found a used Electrolux on eBay. Best vacuum for me. I’m not impressed with new vacuums judging from the reviews.
