I am not much of a collector, though I love repairing and selling used machines.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I would love to own a Sebo Felix, or one of the many Sebo canisters out there, I.E. E3, K3, etc.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Grew up with a Hoover Elite model from the early 90s, then later a Riccar 8850 machine. I now own a Kirby G3, as well as some other machines I use up in the shop including the Riccar which has now been retired from house work after 20+ years, a Dyson DC07, kenmore/Panasonic whisper tone (my bench vac), a super cheap Kenmore bagless machine who’s model number I’m not sure of, etc.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
I have repaired many machines including: eight Kirbys, a Rainbow E-series machine, an Electrolux Discovery model, a few Kenmores and Simplicity/Riccars, an Airway Sanitizer machine from the late 50s, A couple of Orecks, several Hoovers, Eurekas, Dirt Devils, Bissells, and other cheap machines including a couple of Dysons and a Shark. I have also done minor on the fly repairs on several machines including several sharks, Bissells, Hoovers, Eureka,s Fuller-Brush machines, even a Couple of Sebo Machines that were owned by the college I went to at the time.
