It’s just functional - 1 Roomba, 1 upright commercial Oreck, and 2 shop vacs. I gave my beloved Rainbow to my son after I broke my back and vacuuming became an issue.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I would love to have a vintage sled Electrolux in blue just to look at.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Using my grandma’s Kirby after Sunday dinner. That thing was a workout!
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
My Rainbow was purchased new by my mother from a door-to-door salesman when I was a child in the 1970s. She loved that vacuum and kept it in excellent condition. I received it in 1990, and only ever needed to replace belts. When I gave it to my son, he did have a full rebuild done on it.
