My recollection is that Hoover attachments from that era were interchangeable.

Greetings from da Nort’ Country of Wisconsin. Small-time collector, started with a 1920s Eureka, then my grandparents’ Hoover 725, both of which are still running just fine. Daily drivers are an Electrolux Ultralux Classic and a Hoover 918 downstairs, and a Hoover 28 and Airway 88 upstairs.
