    Miele Question

Charlie, Have you ever heard about this one? It's all pipe, and it's huge. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lds_conference_center

any one ever seen one of these

Viking These were sold in the US about 20 years ago, sold as Viking. Even the logo is the same! From my understanding they are European Electroluxes. I actually had one about 10 years ago but I gave up on it as it was in pretty lousy condition. Pretty nice machines, though.

    Iridium Manual

Does anyone have the Kenmore Iridium (bagless) with a scanner that could post the manual for me? Or, if anyone knows of an online link for it? I recently bought one from the 'bay that didn't come with a manual. Sears seems to have discontinued the model and has NO mention of it on their website...

    Iridium Discontinued?

Wow, the board is not what it used to be.

    Iridium Discontinued?

Does anyone know? My local sears (in Idaho Falls, ID) is small and never carried it in-store, but now it's missing from the website too! From all accounts I heard it was a great vac and I can't imagine Sears having a problem selling them, what with the bagless craze right now.

Any thoughts on the Bissell Healthy Home?

Um, thanks--but I want to know from someone who has compared it to the Dyson's filtration. But thanks for your opinions, just out of curiousity, have either of you used the machine? It appears VERY well built and is quiet, with a cogged belt and a two-motor system.

Any thoughts on the Bissell Healthy Home?

I saw this one at LNT for 249 bucks, I can use a 20% off coupon and a $30 rebate, so in the end I'll get a $299 vac for roughly $181. Does anyone know if its any good? Really, I want to know if its filtration system works as well as Dyson, since this one is almost a direct copy. I'm not a huge...

    Sanitaire SC782/SC785

Hey everybody, it's been a while since I've posted last, but I'm getting ready to buy a new vac (too bad, right!) and I'm looking at the Sanitaire SC782/SC785. This will be for an 800 sq foot townhose with a mix of carpeting and bare floors and stairs. Would this be a good choice? Any other...

Top Vac Excel Power Team ..?

I think it's a Fuller It looks identical to the Fuller Brush PTCAN model, which I have heard is great for the money--about 150 bucks. This one at 500 dollars does not seem to be a bargain by any means, at that point you are encroaching on Miele territory.

    Hoover The ONE Pet

So, how is "The One"? I have heard (this is just from the internet and not anyone I know personally) that they are riddled with problems and poorly built. It seems that you have had good luck with yours, however, and I do quite like the design. If I had 240V and could get my hands on one, I...

This is to all Oreck fans...

The only Miele canister made in China is the S251 Plus, which I believe has been discontinued. The rest are made in Germany with oodles of quality built in.

    TELL ME NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just my opinion, again you need to decide, but...I think you'd be CRAZY to return a Sebo for an Oreck. Just my personal preference. I think you would regret it later.

    Advice Needed-Canister Vacuums For Allergies

The Vitavac/Airway can have very good filtration if you have all the filters installed, but if you're looking for something different Miele is absolutely unbeatable, as it is a completely sealed system. Like the Airway they have an optional charcoal filter which helps with the cat smell.

some thing in store for all of us.

Cool Stuff I would love to visit that shop, you don't really find that sort of vacuum dealer any more--mos are moving towards ONLY selling new high-end machines, like Tacony, Miele, Sebo, or Lindhaus. (I have nothing against those vacs though, but miss the old days). Unfortunately, South Dakota...
