My daily drivers are Hoover 1060-Convertible, 1120-Dial-a-Matic, 843-Constellation, 404-Swingette, 2800-Pixie, 2201-Portable, 2941-Handivac, and 115-Lightweight Upright. They are all in tones of brown, orange, and yellow to match the high desert/mountain landscape of Santa Fe.

General Electric U-1! All my other vacuum wishes have been fulfilled, I'm very lucky.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Going to Macy's in San Mateo, CA in August 1969 with Dad to pick out Mom's Hoover Convertible that she wanted for her birthday. I got to pick out the color, orange.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
My first 'collector' purchase of vintage vacuum is my 843 Constellation that I purchased at a Salvation Army in 1987 for less than $10!
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Mostly cosmetic work, except for cleaning carbon brushes.
