    A HOOVER home

Great Looking Small Appliances Did Hoover actually manufacture any of those or were they sourced from other OEM's? The mixer looks like an Oster (Sunbeam), Can Opener looks like a Rival my folks had when I was a kid, and the Percolator is similar to one offered by Sears. Wish you could get...

    2 Electrolux B9 Designs—United States & Sweden

Just used the B-9 on Tuesday I used that exact B-9 Floor Beautifer to shampoo the upstairs carpet on Tuesday evening. It did a great job as always. Guess it will be the last run as we're selling our house and moving to one with only LVT throughout.

    Corningware Percolator Cord

Did all Corning percolators require a unique size cord? My mom used one when I was a kid which she received for a wedding gift in 1965. The cord on that one seemed pretty standard like other brand percolators, corn poppers, etc. My grandmother had one from the mid-1970's (Spice O'Life)--solid...

    Electrolux LE Switch Replacement--Difficult?

I think I have a broken component Picture number 1 shows all the components after disassembly. Picture number 2 shows the clear plastic arm/lever which appears to have broken. Is just this component available or do I have to purchase a replacement switch assembly?

Anyone interested in a hose to fit Airway 77?

I'm clearing some items out of the basement and came across a made to fit hose for an Airway vacuum. I remember the model 77 sitting in the corner of the garage and I think this hose was used on it. Genuine Airway machine end connected to a "fit-all" vinyl hose with an Eureka tool/wand end...

    Electrolux LE Switch Replacement--Difficult?

I have an Electrolux LE (Marquise era) and the switch is broken. It has been abandoned for years in a basement as it wouldn't turn off and I finally took it apart and discovered the switch cover which you push is fine, but there is some type of lever or rocker that has broken. Can I order...

Does anyone know the name of pigtail plugs?

I don't know if these are still available, but the upper cord on a 1205-era PN1 had a replacement two prong plug on the pigtail end.

Electrolux PN-1 Power Nozzle 3 Row Brush

I just opened a 1205 era PN-1 and discovered that it had a 3 row brush roll. Was this typical or perhaps a replacement? I thought the PN-1 brush rolls were two row. The power nozzle itself had seen better days... the top housing was really banged up and the plastic on the upper wand housing...

    Riccar Self-Propelled Upright??

I recently saw a posting on FB Marketplace for a Self-Propelled vacuum--A Riccar 8900 which don't think is correct. Did Riccar make a self-propelled vacuum?

Did GE sell a Hand/Stand Mixer in the 1950's?

Here's a memory that brings a question to mind every now and then. I've seen pictures of Sunbeam, Dormeyer and Hamilton Beach versions of their hand mixers on stands in the 1950/1960's but did GE ever sell such a model? I have this memory of being at the home of a lady from our church when I...

    Central Vacuum Hose Issue

We have an MD Central Vacuum direct connect hose that will only turn on the power nozzle but not the suction (main vacuum unit) when toggled to the number two position that is supposed to run both. When toggled to the number one position (vacuum only) it works just fine. Is this likely a...

    Aerus Manufacturing Locations

Just curious, does Aerus manufacture any of the machines it sells or has it outsourced all of those operations? I recall years ago reading that one of the Eureka plants was assembling Aerus (Electrolux) vacuum cleaners but am not sure what the company is doing now. I see one of the current...
