I am a housecleaning and have done commercial cleans as well so I have acquired quite the collection of vacuums, scrbbing machines, floor machine, as well as carpet cleaners. I have several different brands ranging from Bissell to shark and Oreic. Each one I think serves a specific purpose as not all do the best for the same jobs.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I think I have about collected all the ones I really wanted however I'm partial to my Dyson and would like to own a Dyson stick vac or (I don't know if they make them) a backpack vac by Dyson.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
When I was growing up we had the old bissell metal style vac and the bag looked like it was just hanging (thats the way it was made) but my sisters cat use to set on it and ride it while you vacuumed the house. My mother didn't have a hard time getting us kids to vacuum because we thought it was funny to watch the cat so we didn't mind doing it.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
I had some purchased new then their AR a few I purchased at a discount due to being used but purchased them from the company I used to clean for. Others have been gi enough to me when company decided to upgrade.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
I have taken them apart and cleaned the rollers and the hoses as people throw them away because the don't work when sometimes they just need a good cleaning too. I have replaced broken belts on several.
