I use my normal old school dyson just for regular use weekly but I do however own an ocean blue with all the bells and whistles which I use for deep cleaning! Usually have to do one room a day as it is exhausting to use but does it's job however this is more of a 6month two times a year use as I said it is exhausting as I am not one to do things half way. I do everything from the air filters to the ceilings to the dusting to the upholstery to the base boards to the nook and crannies to the carpet and hardwood floors incl. tiles; With two dogs and a 3 bedroom, two dining rooms, exercise room, 1 regular bathroom 1 master and two more dens a large kitchen and multiple hallways and furniture in every room it takes days to clean top to bottom. Ocean blue is our "spring cleaning tool"
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
A machine that constantly sucked the dust from the air and yes I know their air filters and I own an oceanblue but if it could attach to a corner in each room and suck in the dust you empty Every other day or however so often. Oh, And an automatic duster where it wipes down, squirts a cleaner you pour in per material you use and then vacuums like a rumba for top of the fridge, places to high to wipe down with cleaning products, above cabinets(like the very top part you can't reach without standing on the kitchen counter with fear of falling and breaking you're limbs or worse..you're neck. And something to polish the baseboards....those are backbreaking!
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Like 25 years ago when the bag busted on my Oraka
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Most sucked except a bissell and though I love the cleaning abilities it really fills up quick because it does clean so deep that the water has to be dumped every 25-35mins and then start the water process over. Plus adding attachments and rolling it with you can be a pain but it is a good product if you have the energy. I don't so I break down my dusting with cleaners on first two days then spend one day on 1-2rooms a day depending on energy!
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Used to sale oceanblues and I want to reveal the truth when I was first hired and how they did scam people a few years back. I just want to warn people to do their homework first and never sign on your first visit as it's commission based only. Oh and it cost between 300$ and 500$ to produce so they are overly priced. I took one apart to know every aspect of the machine and the number we called after my boss in his corvette disappeared we could get no help. The only one I saw was to my family!
