Ben, My local vac store has the 152585 (brush roll). I called Kirby. They don't go by part numbers so they couldn't give me one. What's the difference in the 152584 and 152585? Found an Ebay seller with this chart...

Can I upgrade my Kirby Classic III to a newer twin line of bristles roller? Mine has a single line of bristles all the way across the roller. She has a 6 amp motor. Is this enough amp power to turn a twin bristle roller? Like the newer Kirby's have the twin roller and higher amp motor? slomo

Are you Talking about the clothes washer or the dish washer? I wouldn't dare put mine in the clothes washer. Be afraid the agitation would ruin the bag. I know the dish washer works wonders on parts cleaning. Engine parts, valve covers......... All while the wife is AWAY LOL.
