Just starting out: So far, I have purchased 2 refurbished Electrolux machines (Olympia One, Ambassador-III) and 2 Tri-Star machines (a DXL and Compact Electra C9).
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
1) Electrolux Canadian ZB89 (either in moss green or cherry red & cream); 2) Compact in powder blue from circa 1987 (my moms last "good" vacuum cleaner).
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Following mom around the house when she vacuumed with her Electrolux ZB89) trying to get it away from her so that I could vacuum and play around with it.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
Mostly upright vacuums: I had a cheap Eureka years ago; I also had a Phantom Fury bagless upright. I currently use a Panasonic JetSpin cyclonic bagless upright at the moment.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
No, but I thoroughly cleaned & spruced up my Ambassador-III & my Tri-Star DXL all on my own (with a little help from YouTube to guide me on what products to use, and which ones to avoid using to prevent damaging the finish).
