Doesn't Cleva Make Kenmore Canisters now? They didn't fix this??

Miele claims that is a feature to get the bag out more easily, I think it’s a scam to get people to ruin their vacuum and buy a new motor! Miele does not have a warning that says the bag must be reseated when opening the cover! Notice on their new Guard, the pre motor filter is now a screen...

    Did some holiday cleaning

Indeed, I have to vacuum the hose when I’m done!

They must have changed the dock slightly. My Panasonic made Kenmore never has dust in the bag area, when using cloth bags.

    Did some holiday cleaning

The Riccar is the only one so far that made a mess with the powder. The Riccar is also the only vacuum I have that spits everything that isn’t dust or hair. I’ve never noticed leak in any of my machines, the X4 sometimes when you open the bag door. I always have to dust the top of the Duo...

    Did some holiday cleaning

I chose to use the Spirit to pickup the Duo powder, since the bag is near full. The Spirit is awful for picking up powder, it went all over the body of the vacuum, I still must clean the spirit. Both my Spirit and Healthcare had a relatively full bag, guess I should have went with the Healthcare!

    Electric Carpet Sweepers—G-E's model SV-1, Premier's model SV-1A & Emer's "Princess"

These are rather interesting! I would probably prefer pulling out my main upright or canister.

My take on the Dyson Submarine

I forgot to mention the washing machine! I’ve known that they made one, but I never looked into it. I do know that they weren’t on the market very long, did they sell them in the US?

My take on the Dyson Submarine

I agree! Both Shark and Dyson are doing this, they have both expanded far past badly designed vacuums. Both companies now sell: Fans, hairdryers, other hair devices, air purifiers, and who knows what will be next! I forgot to mention that Dyson is also an audio company too, with their new...

My take on the Dyson Submarine

I really don’t get the trend, people are now too lazy to mop a floor! Riccar has also released their Chinese import copy of this. A quality microfiber mop does the job for me! A machine might be better for tile or slate floors, such as the Lindwash. Not to mention that you have to hold the heavy...

    Vacuuming early in life?

I believe that my vacuum interest was initiated by my mother. She would let me ride on the vacuum when she would clean (usually every day with a border collie mix). I would also help my grandmother when she would vacuum the large anoint of carpets and floors in my grandparents home. My...

    Favorite Modern Hardfloor Tool

The Miele seems to move better, possibly because it’s older.

    Favorite Modern Hardfloor Tool

The two Wessel Werk nozzles do differ slightly. The Miele has a bit more depth to the nozzle, but the Sebo is slightly wider. The brushes are arranged differently on both, as well as the suction inlet. Yes, the scratch on the Miele drives me crazy, I was prepared to replace the nozzle. I will...

    Miele customer moved to Sebo

I’ll have to count them next time, but I believe there are about 6-7 speeds.

    Miele customer moved to Sebo

I will definitely say that the D4 has more suction at the floor when when compared to Miele S8. I got the Wessel Werk twister nozzle and it is harder to push than when using the Miele. I found that the D4 with the suction decreased by two presses of the minus from max, is equal to the Miele on...
