Electrolux attachments & accessories - additional images

Obviously the Lux floor tools are great for floors, but I really like the carpet side of the tool. This is the easiest carpet nozzle for doing kitchen and bathroom throw rugs.

    My introduction

Welcome! Yes, they were sold as the Dirt Devil Gator in the US, under TTI. They were sold on HSN often, I’ve linked a video below.

    Sebo X4 Difficult to Push

I would imagine that you are referring to the ET h nozzle? The “little dial” seams to adjust the way that the brush roll contours to different piles of carpet. I would recommend this video from IBAISAIC at 25:05

    Sebo X4 Difficult to Push

I’ve been after a C3.1 for a while, but I’ve seen that their cord reels seem to be problem. I like that they essentially give you everything that their flagship upright (X1 or X4) had at the time. I’m sure that ET C power nozzle was their most durable, since it was used on the versamatics.

    Electrolux Olympia...

Indeed! I have both and like them far better than the Ultralux. They were certainly advanced for their time. I have the side kick, but I avoid using them on stairs as they’re rather cumbersome.

    Carpet or Hardfloors

Anyone else prefer carpet? A certain someone wanted mainly all hard floors in our house, and I like carpet even more now. Hard floors look nice but they are a lot more work than carpet. With hard floors it’s a cycle of vacuum then mop all the floors. I much prefer carpet, where you can vacuum...

    Electrolux Olympia...

The Olympia One is my favorite Lux! I like the contrast of the brown and cream colored trim. These metal body Electroluxs are absolute tanks, the only thing I’ve ever had to do is replace the cord reel. The Electrolux logo on the side trim can be colored with a black sharpie. There is a full...

    Sebo X4 Difficult to Push

Someone correct me if I’m incorrect, but I believe the white brush roll is the same as the blue one. Sebo did not make the x5 brush blue for a while.

    Sebo X4 Difficult to Push

Yes there are very few differences between the Sebo canisters. I would want the D4 for the big bag and 40ft power cord. I do not like where the attachments are stored on the D4, it seems like the most cumbersome place to put the attachments. The D4 attachment also seem rather small, not too...

    General Carpet Cleaning

I do prefer the truck mounted extraction, their machine removes much more liquid than a portable unit such as a Rug Doctor.

    Sebo X4 Difficult to Push

I have a green brush as well, I bought it specifically for the hard to clean rug that I bought. The green brush would not be appropriate for the rest of the wall to wall carpet throughout the house. I also believe that constant switching of brush rolls might wear something out. I keep the x4 in...

    General Carpet Cleaning

I agree. The people that usually have never cleaned their carpets believe that “cleaning carpets makes them attract dirt.”

    General Carpet Cleaning

What method do you prefer for general maintenance cleaning? I previously preferred the Kirby shampoo, but it can be time consuming for large rooms. My preferred method is the Sebo duo powder, it seems to remove anything I want removed. I also appreciate that Sebo claims that the Duo powder...

    Sebo X4 Difficult to Push

The x4 is now fixed! The new blue brush roll brought my Sebo back to the easy to push feel I bought it for!

    What is the longest vacuum

The Thermax is larger. I think an Electrolux Renaissance would complement the Buick.
