Cool.. Any idea of what year they changed the brush roll design? I had an Electrolux branded one for a central vacuum about 10 years ago. It did an ok job lifting the pile, but I actually think my Turbocat was more aggressive.

Thanks! I did hear it on a YouTube video - to me it sounds less like the previous Lux powerhead that I had years ago and actually more like the Miele 236. How do you think it does as far as grooming your carpet is concerned?

One last thought... Anyone know if the new Aerus nozzle is an improvement over previous versions? I caught a glimpse of it (in black ) and I still love the way they look.. I just don't know if there has been any brush roll improvements. I don't want to go that route and be disappointed.
