What would be a good recommendation for a Central Vacuum System?

I installed a Vacuflo in my parents house years ago, then installed an Imperium at my next house and have an Aerus at the current house (just because I purchased the unit because I wanted an attachment a few years ago and it was all being sold together). All worked very well, you can't go wrong...

    Hoover Flight Promotion

Hi All! This popped up in my feed today. Being from the US, I don’t think that I was aware of this promotion. Really interesting if you’re not familiar with the promo.. Scott https://thehustle.co/the-worst-sales-promotion-in-history/

Central Vacuums with Hide a Hose

I've got a Miele UniQ.. I'm not saying that the Miele doesn't maneuvar nicely - it does.. It's just that a canister is trailing me wherever I go. I'm very careful with it as I don't want it banging into the walls and furniture - Less worried about marking up the baseboard and more worried...

Central Vacuums with Hide a Hose

I put in a HAH in a previous house.. I loved it for the same reasons you do.. Central Vacs are great, but the big hose always wound up sitting coiled up in a room somewhere because I was too lazy to hang it up. The HAH was great, no complaints at all. I moved into an old farmhouse and wound...

    Miele Uniq - Good Deal!

Hi All, I like probably most on this forum have an affinity for vacuum cleaners.. Well, most appliances in general. On the vacuum side, growing up we had Kenmores, an Electrolux Discovery II, then a Vacuflo central that I installed for the parents. After moving out I picked up a Lindhaus...

    Domestic Vacuums in Commercial Settings

I always take note of the vacuums that businesses are using when I'm out. When I first started cruising, I noticed that Royal Caribbean was using Windsor uprights. I believe (at least on the last ships that I've been on..) they're now using Numatics. Also, if you're familiar with the...

Miele Vacuums, Anyone selling a miele blue moon?

I had a Blue Moon and loved it.. The only reason I parted with it was due to it's size.. I had moved into a smaller house and the big canister was banging around into everything. Wound up putting a central vac into that house. I do know what you're saying about the quality of the newer vacs...

    Kenmore Crossover / Centec CT24

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone knows anything about the new Kenmore Intuition Elite vacuum at Sears. I have a central vac and was very interested in the Centec liftoff powerhead, but after reading some less than stellar reviews of longevity for the first generation model (electrical...

    Lindhaus/Stealth vs Wessel EBK360

Cool.. Any idea of what year they changed the brush roll design? I had an Electrolux branded one for a central vacuum about 10 years ago. It did an ok job lifting the pile, but I actually think my Turbocat was more aggressive.

    Lindhaus/Stealth vs Wessel EBK360

Thanks! I did hear it on a YouTube video - to me it sounds less like the previous Lux powerhead that I had years ago and actually more like the Miele 236. How do you think it does as far as grooming your carpet is concerned?

    Lindhaus/Stealth vs Wessel EBK360

One last thought... Anyone know if the new Aerus nozzle is an improvement over previous versions? I caught a glimpse of it (in black ) and I still love the way they look.. I just don't know if there has been any brush roll improvements. I don't want to go that route and be disappointed.

    Lindhaus/Stealth vs Wessel EBK360

Thanks for the replies so far! Reading down the posts I was leaning towards the Wessel, but then got swayed to the Lindhaus again. So what is the deal with the 2 row Lindhaus brush? Is it only available on the pb12? Is it standard?

    Lindhaus/Stealth vs Wessel EBK360

Hi All, Long time browser, first time poster.. Sorry for the long post in advance! Just a bit of background.. I've always been into appliances, vacuums included. Over the years I've had Electrolux (Discovery), Miele's (Flamenco, Aluminum, Blue Moon) with 217, 226, and 236 heads, Electrolux...
