Just the normal stuff that the wife uses. But I do have an older Eureka and grew up fixing Hoover uprights while watching Sat morning cartoons so have a soft spot for them even though they were plastic and broke often. I also worked on Panasonics and fell in love with Oreck's indestructible commercial designs.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
A robot vacuum that does both vacuuming and mopping on both hard and soft surfaces automatically every day.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Opening broken Hoovers while watching Saturday morning cartoons and rebuilding them into working ones using all the good parts.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
The Hoovers were all junk yard finds my dad would pick up for $1/ea. My brother and I would rebuild them as we had a small motel and housekeepers would destroy vacuums, so this was a cost savings move.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Yes, I've been doing it on and off since I was in 5th grade.
