    Henry went crack/pop

Hello Just an update. I bought a new PCB off E**Y. They've changed them now so that the circuit type things are on the other side so less likely to get covered in muck (the PCB's now also red not green). I fitted it & Henry now lives & works on both speeds :-) Cheers Dave

    Henry went crack/pop

Hello all I was vacuuming today with my Autosave Henry (he's about 6 years old). I had it on normal (low) power pulled the hose to move him along & there was a loud sort of crack/pop noise. He still carried on running ok. I swiched it off & had a look but couldn't see or smell anything...

    HENRY HOOVER REDUCED POWER

Turbo500 is absolutely correct. I have an older 1200w autosave Henry & a newer one with the smaller motor. The newer one is far superior. Don't consider the motor size as it's irrelevant. The current Henry's are more powerful & effective in real world use.

    Henry is 35

Has anyone else seen the Numatic Holland site http://www.numatic.nl/homecare/ The limited edition 35th anniversary Henry is uber cool. I wonder why Numatic UK aren't making more of his 35th birthday ??

    New Henry's - Original, Compact & Professional

I keep looking at the pic of the tool storage & something is puzzling me. I can see that the two tools store but where does the adaptor go (to enable them to fit the hose)that fits into the tools? It's quite a long piece so I can't see it being kept within one of the tools or it may touch the...

    New Henry's - Original, Compact & Professional

delaneymeegan, Henry doesn't have to sit on the stairs. The hose is long enough that I can reach halfway down the stairs with the little chap sat on the "landing"/area at the top of the stairs & then I put him at the foot/ bottom of the stairs & do the other half upwards. We have a small house &...

    New Henry's - Original, Compact & Professional

I think Numatic are to applauded for having an excellent product & refining it so that (a) it's an improvement & (b) actually listening to what the customer wants. In so many ways if the rest of British industry had done this & not had a "take it or leave it" attitude, we might still produce...

    New Henry's - Original, Compact & Professional

Oh cool ! Thanks for posting this :-) On board tool storage at last. Neatly done & the only thing that ever really irked me was the lack of it. I want the new 160 ! Any idea when they'll be available in the UK? Cheers

What do you think of the new numatics?

I too put more clips on to hold the tools but it just seems a bit of a low rent solution. I've no problem with the manual cord re-wind or the fact the machine is quite basic (I really rather like that & look on it as a + ) but the lack of just a basic storage rack at the back of the machine does...

What do you think of the new numatics?

As many others have said, these days the quality of everything does appear to be less than it was. That goes for cars, through to clothing through to domestic appliances. Consumers want things cheap so that's effectively what they get. I do however think Numatic still make a great product & if...

    Show your numatics

Cool collection (particularly the Nuvac). I like that stand you've got them on, is it from Numatic themselves?

Pictorial thread of Hoover UK's Turbo models (turbopower etc)

Cool thread. I can't look at images of Hoovers without thinking of my mum. Mum died unexpectedly in April last year & despite living in a tiny 1 bedroom bungalow, always had a few vacuum cleaners (just in case..). Her favourites were always Hoovers from the big '60's Senior we had when I was a...

    Numatic Jack

Hello Excellent review sebo_fan, thanks very much for that. I'm going to look to get one of those floor tools, the little chap really does deserve something better than that jumpy plastic thing it came with. I do wonder why Numatic have opted to use the plastic based one. It really spoils the...

    Numatic Jack

I just checked the Numatic web-site, seems the majority now have the 620w motor including the James. The sticker on Jack is PSP 200-11 which is the same as their commercial blue one with the Nuplug easily replaced cable feature (which Jack also has). Cheers Dave
