Hello, The gray color on the sides of the hood match the gray color of the base. The top of the hood looks like brown burled walnut. The handle is very dark brown and the cord is dark brown. The bag is a wine color. It is a very strange color combination all the way around.

I also have one. It was given to me by a great friend for Christmas last year. It really does work and sits here at my desk. It does look like a convertible. Thanks for posting this and letting me know others have one. Jim

Yes I will list my Royal hand vacs when I can get to it. They are all cleaned, serviced and have new paper bags installed. There is only one with a bojack bag. I even have a few NOS bags for the later models. I will post a list soon. Thanks :-)
