-I have been collecting vacuums for about 25 years. I have most of them displayed in our mid century home in the lower level. I have Filter Queen, Hoover, Eureka, Royal, Kirby, Electrolux, Compact vacuums that date from 1939-1985. My newer vacuums are Sanitaire, Miele, Sebo, Rainbow, Riccar, Simplicity & Kirby.

What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
-Vacuuming my grandparents home with their 60s Rainbow D2. I was facinated with how it worked, the water in the basin and the smell of pine throughout the house. I have a Rainbow D2 vacuum in my collection with an original storage box.

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
-I have restored most all of my vacuums...pretty much cosmetically. Any mechanical work that needed to be done has been performed by a local vacuum shop. I have known the owner for almost 25 years and have gained an abundance of knowledge over the years.
