    How to re"Vita"lize your rugs.......

With a Vitavac of course. I hit one of the usual thrift stores today and found this. I had never seen one before in the flesh so I had to buy it to play with. All that black and chrome it looks like it means business. The power nozzle is a little on the cheap side but seems to work well. I think...

    Busy little beavers

As I said in the off-topic forum.........when you know who was here we were busy getting into all kinds of trouble. A couple months ago I found this Eureka...my very first cloth bag Eureka. A great vacuum but I had no attachments for it and you all know how important it is to have a full set of...

    Another fun find

I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I found it and then to have the hose too. When I got to the checkout counter the woman said well the little Hoover is getting sold and then she said to me-good luck finding bags for it. I told her I had a few at home! Fred- it was a whopping $20! My...

    Commercial Eureka

We found this at a Goodwill of all places...one that never has any vacs. The one on Main in Mesa-just east of Stapley Rd I think. Morgan, Thanks for checking on the orange bag. I may have to put a grey one on it..which would be ok too. This does have edge cleaning channels so it is newer than...

Blower switch Something I didn't know...the trim around the suction opening is the switch to turn the vacuum on for use as a blower.

    Another fun find

A few months ago I went in to the local Habitat store to do a vacuum check......only one vacuum in the whole place but it was this. Original hose and it works! The rug nozzle I think should be green so it seems this is a replacement.

    Commercial Eureka

I was in Phoenix a couple weekends ago and found this metal base Eureka in a Mesa thrift store. Never have seen one like this before. I thought the hood had been painted but it has not...the orange is the original color. I am sure the bag is not original. It has a Vibra-groomer brushroll. Can...

    Weekend Project

Michael Thomas came for the weekend....one of our projects was to do some concentrated thrifting. Unfortunately there wasn't much to be found in the stores this weekend. We saw a few vacuums but nothing that needed to come home with us. The other project was to detail and fine tune his latest...

    Hoover 719

Friday night on my way to Ross' house to work on his Thor Automagic I passed one of our usual thrift stores....should I bother to stop or not. Well I did and it's a good thing I did because there was a perfect Hoover 719 waiting to go home with me. I guess there are a few good vacuums out there...
