Main machine is a Kirby G series bought off of EBay. Just got a vintage Kirby 519 from a friend's grandmother, starting to gather parts together to get it running.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
I just remember my Mom's Eureka upright with a paddle shaped power switch and a metal shell - kept going forever.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
I went through all kinds of modern plastic vacs and when the last one lasted only a few months before melting the beater housing after the bearings locked up, I'd had it and went after a vintage Kirby G with all accessories. Haven't ever looked back.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
