Replace the motor? Are you kidding? If your motor is not pulling what it should, take a look at the fans; they could have dust built up in them. While the motor is out check the brushes; Altho' they say replacement brushes are not longer available, I just replaced mine with a inexpensive...

I'm the original owner of a 'Lux Model 1521 Diamond Jubilee. Finally wore out the motor brushes....can't find replacements anywhere. I'm ready to try a set from Helwigcarbon.com; the #146. Its 1/4 thick x 7/16 wide x 1" long. Any other suggestions? Thanks!!
