Actually, I have started concentrating on other pre 1960's household appliances. The 5 or so I own (Alpha, Erres, Electrolux, SEV, a Super Alpha and a PIFCO Vacette), I'll keep though, and I'm still looking for more paper documentation about them)
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I'd love to find the original box of my Erres, and the 1930's predecessor of my 1950's model.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
Sitting on top of them as a toddler, an improviced hobby horse on ski's. I'd love to discover one day what brand it actually was, it was European though
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
I found all of them for free on the dauly flea market of Brussels (Vossenplein) in the years sellers were still allowed to leave behind things that didn't sold etc. They are no longer allowed to do so. The PIFCO Vacette though, a small hand held vacuum cleaner, I bought on eBay UK, as I am a collector of some of the PIFCO items.
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
