Sizing down the collection, RARE Dirt Devils!

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've been online here, just wanted to give everyone here an opportunity to swipe a good deal on some collector grade vacs. I'm starting an eBay selling account and already have a few machines listed for sale. My beloved Royal Dirt Devil Pro Series MVP...

    Forgotten Dirt Devil/Royal Products

I believe that translucent blue featherlite hard bag were just called the Dirt Devi Lite, I've seen more pics on facebook groups. the 501d was sold at the same time as the "commercial quality" plastic uprights, so would've been a companion to one of these:

    Favorite rare 80s-2000s vacuums?

@fan-of-fans I have owned all of those machines except for the hoover, they're all great cleaners and good collection pieces. I'd say the Ultra MVP with cord winder is specifically an interesting and rare vac from the late 90's.

No Bissell/DD Power Nozzle Canisters Until The Early 2000's

Royal started early Royal's metal Power Teams were great canisters! Those were produced from the 70's all the way to the very late 90's, I believe '98 or '99 was when they were officially discontinued? And Dirt Devil of course had the little Power Pak in many different variations. For Bissell...

    Forgotten Dirt Devil/Royal Products

Forgotten, or unknown? The Dirt Devil Green Machine! An early nickname dealers would use to advertise the forest green Pro Series Upright Plus. Or maybe the Anniversary Upright Deluxe? Walmart special? 501D? Manufacturer Special? Classic (teal upright)? Emerald Collection!

Bright Red DD Swivel Glide Vision

Those early visions are neat... the filter check looks in good condition on that example. All of the DD red visions didn't come with bumpers, I wonder why.

Dirt devil hand vac “Car Vac”

Actually the dirt devil car vac is designed completely differently internally from normal hand vacs. This is due to the motor shape being completely different, requiring a different type of motor mount to keep the machine and its motor secure which. It depends on the year of the car vac whether...

Stark/Royal Classic PowerTeam 4650, repair questions

I saw that one on Facebook too! Felt regret for not buying it right after it was sold. Oh well, maybe a better one will come to me in the future!

    Teal Dirt Devil Deluxe.

Awesome That's very cool! I've always wondered what those really looked like. I've seen newspaper ads for them, but of course in black and white. Let me know if you ever want to let it go. The classic name refers to a lineup they had at the time which I believe only consisted of the upright...

Potential New Kirby Vacuum Model Discussion

A little patent research and a lot of y'alls questions would be answered. Did the work for you, these are Scott and Fetzer patents from 2009. It's clear that by now they would've improved the design, and had well enough time to design a new Kirby, having released the Sentria, Sentria II, Avalir...
