I believe that translucent blue featherlite hard bag were just called the Dirt Devi Lite, I've seen more pics on facebook groups. the 501d was sold at the same time as the "commercial quality" plastic uprights, so would've been a companion to one of these:

@fan-of-fans I have owned all of those machines except for the hoover, they're all great cleaners and good collection pieces. I'd say the Ultra MVP with cord winder is specifically an interesting and rare vac from the late 90's.

Royal started early Royal's metal Power Teams were great canisters! Those were produced from the 70's all the way to the very late 90's, I believe '98 or '99 was when they were officially discontinued? And Dirt Devil of course had the little Power Pak in many different variations. For Bissell...

Those early visions are neat... the filter check looks in good condition on that example. All of the DD red visions didn't come with bumpers, I wonder why.

Actually the dirt devil car vac is designed completely differently internally from normal hand vacs. This is due to the motor shape being completely different, requiring a different type of motor mount to keep the machine and its motor secure which. It depends on the year of the car vac whether...

Lucky me! I found it after a quick search! Model 501D, It's called the Deluxe Hand Vac. This paper is actually from December 1993, and shows all hand vacs that were sold at the time.
