I just became co-owner in an Emdeko Filtex vacuum. We have some of the original attachments, the cloth filter and the fiberglass.
What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I’d like to work on shaping up the one I have.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
I grew up in a house with a central vacuum, so the concept of vacuuming was really mysterious to me. Everything went into a hose attached to the wall and I never saw the results. When I got older and started using bag vacuums it was really fun and novel for me.
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
The current vacuum cleaner is my partners, as we now live together I get to interact with it. It was given to him by an elderly woman that he knew in Idaho.
