Mine are all daily drivers. I do have a beautiful art deco ge from the 20s that still works. I love vintage upright and use rainbow a lot. I do have a few electroluxes and switch around parts and pieces a lot. We use a sanitaire upright, an electroluxe upright a filter queen canister. Is that enough?
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
My grandmothers electrolux model 30. The first cord and plug I ever repaired! It was beautiful and she used it every day without fail. Funny, I dont ever remember emptying it? But there couldnt be that much dirt if she vacuumed every day!
What is the history of vacuum you have owned?
too many to list. But when first divorced and destitute I used two vintage uprights. A coffee can hoover and a streamlined one with a light in it. terrible cleaner but i loved looking at it!
Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
yes. many. just jump in and pull them apart. If it is broke to begin with, how can i hurt it?
