    Two to make one

So I was hoping for some advice on how to get a new hose on this attachment. Do I put it in boiling water to get that form fitting rubber/vinyl sleeve off? Can I buy some sort of new one? What hose should I use or should I repurpose one that is vintage? Also, has anyone done a color match...

    Two to make one

Anyway I did clean it up a bit and of course the motor sounds good so I was able to get some parts. There is one on Ebay right now that could use that handle.

    Two to make one

Eeeeew Mouscapades. I kinda had a suspicion as it weighed a ton when I picked it up. #6502212 is pretty far gone.

    Two to make one

Hi all, well I picked up this Hoover Constellation 84 #9331980 years ago but it was missing the hose. I have occasionally looked online but it always involved buying a whole machine. Anyway finally I spotted an 82 at an estate sale that had that special nozzle attachment so I thought I would...

    Hoover constellation cleaning?

Use some Mothers aluminum polish from the auto parts store. Be careful around any printed logos etc.

Is this a modified vintage Hoover or a real weed wacker?

Here is a close up Any comments or information would be most appreciated. There is a worn blade with sort of a shield at the bottom. Thanks.

Is this a modified vintage Hoover or a real weed wacker?

I picked this up at an estate sale last weekend thinking it was a vintage weed wacker but upon closer examination it looks like a modified Hoover. It just has Hoover motor written on it. I can't find a similar model anywhere. Has anyone seen anything like this before? The fellow had a machine...

Thought I'd share about new Hoover Constellation model 84

I picked this up at an estate sale and it is in really good condition. Its number is 9331980. I think this is the first one that floats. I've seen a few others on here. One this it didn't come with is the hose, and the hose from my other constellation seems a bit too big. Does anyone have a...

    Curbside HOOVER find!!

Another Hoover Model 33 Just thought I would tack on to this interesting post. I just picked up a Model 33, it works great. It didn't look like this when I got it though, it was an estate sale find. It has been a hit with the family and is now a daily driver. I kinda like the others I have...

    Electrolux PN-1 find/question

Here it is installed some of you might recognize the part as a little bigger but basically the same. Anyway I tested it out and it works perfectly, Thanks for looking.

    Electrolux PN-1 find/question

I had to cut up the old unit to create a brace to hold the newer part in place. There was a lot of honing on this and this isn't complete yet

    Electrolux PN-1 find/question

So here I am trying to grind this newer one to be thinner and smaller so it will fit in the same slot as the old one. I had this so the budget on this is basically zero. This took longer than I thought. I had to stop and put some ice on it as it might damage the rubber part in there...

    Electrolux PN-1 find/question

Bearing Well, I checked out the bearing situation and unfortunately it has been run without one for a long time and everything in this gizmo is totally reamed out. I have a unit that I might be able to take a part off of but I don't want to part it out. I do have a newer PN but the part is...

    Electrolux PN-1 find/question

Here it is reunited with a model G, I think I was thinking this white one goes with the model G. Do these two go together? I was using a different PN with this. The white one spins great and has a great brush roll, but sounds terrible, so I will have to investigate. Thanks again.
