I am noticing a difference in these two models. One has a fancy nameplate and the other doesn't. I am thinking the fancy nameplate one is the older of the two. The production number(?) is in the middle of the fancy nameplate on mine

So I was hoping for some advice on how to get a new hose on this attachment. Do I put it in boiling water to get that form fitting rubber/vinyl sleeve off? Can I buy some sort of new one? What hose should I use or should I repurpose one that is vintage? Also, has anyone done a color match...

Anyway I did clean it up a bit and of course the motor sounds good so I was able to get some parts. There is one on Ebay right now that could use that handle.

I have to compliment your friend on his choice of ranges. Here's mine. These offer some challenges but I sure enjoy using it. We even have the same "aristomat" which does save the stovetop from damage!

Use some Mothers aluminum polish from the auto parts store. Be careful around any printed logos etc.
