Nilfisk GA70 - my mum's - now mine, bought new 1976 for £70 (big money then). Now serving time as a workshop vac.

What are your dream machines yet to be found?
I like the old Electrolux cylinder vacs, the 345 was a great one - borrowed from a neighbour when ours burnt out, until we bought the Nilfisk. Hoover Junior also big in my memory.
What are your earliest and favorite vacuum memories?
My chore as a kid was to vacuum the house on Saturday. We had an Electrolux back then - cant find the model from Google Images but I know exactly how it looked. After it burnt out, the Nilfisk GA70 took over, I spent many an hour with that machine as a kid, it is mine now!

Have you ever worked on, repaired and/or restored any vacuum cleaners?
Worked in my first 'proper' job from '87 to '89 for a firm in Limerick, Ireland, who were official Nilfisk dervice agents, so have great experience of the Nilfisk range. We also repaired other makes of vacs and cleaning equipment.
